1. 개요

47회 시상식은 1975년 4월 8일 LA Dorothy Chandler Pavilion에서 개최되었고 Sammy Davis, Jr., Bob Hope, Shirley MacLaine, Frank Sinatra 등이 진행했다. 이해는 대부2가 가장 큰 화제가 되었다. 1편에 이어 속편이 작품상을 받는 최초의 기록을 세웠고 로버트 드 니로가 조연상을 수상한다. Chinatown (차이나타운)과 The Godfather Part II (대부2)가 11개 부문 최다 후보로 올랐고 대부2가 6개 부문을 수상한다. The Towering Inferno는 8개 후보에 올라 3개 부문을 수상하고 The Great Gatsby는 2개 부문 후보에 올라 2개 모두 수상한다.
