미국 영화 예술 과학 아카데미(Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS))가 수여하는 미국 영화계 최고의 권위, 전 세계인의 축제 아카데미상(Academy Awards, OSCAR; 1929~ ) 2019년 제91회 아카데미 시상식 (2019 91th Academy Awards, OSCAR) 결과 정리

1.개요

미국시간 2월24일 일요일 미국 캘리포니아주 로스앤젤레스 할리우드 돌비 극장((LA Dolby Theatre)에서 열렸고 ABC를 통해 방송되었다. 지난 제89회 아카데미 시상식 방송사고와 제90회 시상식의 시청률 하락 등의 이유로 프로듀서 제니퍼 토드와 마이클 데루카가 떠나고 도나 질로티와 글렌 웨이스가 프로듀서를 맡았고 TV 감독 출신 글렌 웨이스가 감독을 맡았다. 최대 후보작은 The Favourite (더 페이버릿: 여왕의 여자)와 Roma (로마)로 10개 부문 후보에 올랐고 A Star Is Born (어 스타 이즈 본)과 Vice (바이스)가 8개 부문 후보에 올랐다. 최대 수상작은 보헤미안 랩소디로 4개부문을 수상했고, 블랙팬서와 그린북, 로마가 3개부문을 수상한다. 작품상 후보는 8개 작품이라 역대 가장 치열했다는 평가를 받았고 로마의 수상을 예상했지만 결과적으로 그린북이 수상한다. 이번 수상식에서 가장 주목받은 것은 과거 인종차별 논란에서 벗어난 점인데, 남우주연상을 받은 라미 말렉은 이집트 계 미국인1세대이며, 남우조연상 마허샬라 알리와 여우조연상 레지나 킹 등 흑인이 수상하면서 백인시상식이라는 오명에서 한 발 물러섰다. 그리고 최대 이변은 여우주연상으로 글렌 클로즈 수상이 유력했지만 올리비아 콜먼이 수상한다. 결과 발표에 당사자도 놀랐는데 콜먼의 연기도 훌륭했기에 비난의 목소리는 거의 없다. 글렌 클로즈 수상을 높게 점쳤을뿐 콜먼은 받을 자격이 충분했다.
