1. 개요

87회 시상식은 2016년 2월 28일 LA Dolby Theatre에서 개최되었고 Chris Rock(크리스 락)이 진행했다. The Revenant가 12개 최다 후보에 올라 3개 부문을 수상하는데 레오나르도 디카프리오가 생애 첫 남우주연상을 수상한다. 최다 수상작은 Mad Max: Fury Road로 10개후보에 6개 부문을 수상한다. Spotlight(스포트라이트)는 6개 후보에 올라 2개상을 수상한다.
