1. 개요

48회 시상식은 1976년 3월 29일 LA Dorothy Chandler Pavilion에서 개최되었고 Walter Matthau, Robert Shaw, George Segal, Goldie Hawn, Gene Kelly 등이 진행했다. George Burns이 80세 최고령으로 남우 조연상을 수상했다. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest가 9개 부문 최다 후보로 올라 5개 부문을 수상했고, Barry Lyndon은 7개 부문 후보에 올라 4개 부문을 수상했다. Jaws(죠스)는 4개 후보 3개 수상을 기록한다.
