1. 요약

30회 시상식은 1958년 3월 26일 할리우드 RKO Pantages Theatre에서 열렸다. Bob Hope, Rosalind Russell, David Niven, James Stewart, Jack Lemmon, Donald Duck (voice of Clarence Nash, by premade animation)이 공동 진행을 맡았다. 최초로 TV 생중계를 시작한 해였다. (이전에는 녹화 중계)
