1. 요약

1930년 4월 3일 LA의 The Ambassador 호텔에서 열렸다. 이전 1회와는 확연히 규모가 커졌는데 라디오로 생중계가 시작이 되었다. 수상 선정 기준은 1928년 8월1일과 1929년 7월 31일 미국에서 개봉된 영화를 기준으로 수상했다.
